Evaluating and assessing the impact of the CONCERTO projects is the main task of Workpackage 2. With the evaluation and the monitoring of the realised projects it can be ascertained how successful the projects have been realised - a necessary but difficult task.
The single projects will be analysed and monitored according to the consumed energy, the use of renewable energy technologies and the economical and environmental impacts and the comfort levels of the projects. The projects have to be compared with the national requirements and more ambitious standards.
Furthermore the entire project on the level of CONCERTO-area has to be evaluated. In this case key success indicators for the whole area have to be determined from metered and calculated data.
To perform these tasks the general conditions must be analysed very cautious. One must consider the metering equipment, software tools, the definition of the baseline, standards and costs and so on.
The responsible actor who has to ensure that the monitoring tasks in Hannover and Nantes have to be performed under defined conditions is proKlima. proKlima is a local non-profit climate protection fund which was founded by the city Hannover and the local energy supplier Stadtwerke Hannover AG in 1998 and is funded by 5,1 million Euros annually. Main objective of proKlima is to assist the customers and members of the public in their efforts to actively support climate protection measures.
