  • the modernization of the heat distribution network, including the replacement channel networks into preinsulated ones;
  • the modernization of substations, including the modernization of technology, assembly of automatics and the adaptation of substations to telemetry system.

Results:

The result of the project implementation was better adaptation of municipal heat engineering system in Koszalin to enlarged environmental protection requirements as well as customers requirements in relation to quality and accessibility of services. It is the significant progress towards sustainable energy system owing to the limitation of air pollution, particularly of dusts, as well as decrease on energy demand, together with improvement of the recipient's thermal comfort. The realization of the project caused the improvement of air quality in Koszalin and the region, and at the same time the growth of attractiveness of the town and region as place of life, work, investing and rest.

It is one of many projects has been realized in Poland, connected with air protection, which was co-funded by European Union and comprised the whole municipal heat engineering system: sources, pipelines and substations.
The tasks realized within the confines of the project in relation to the qualities of technical and technological solutions were adopted to valid requirements in European Union.
This undertaking possessed the priority in The Strategy of Regional Development and was situated on the lists of province and central priorities.
