Training activities
The City of Koszalin will work in close partnership with the Koszalin District Heating Company Ltd. and the Koszalin Polytechnic to develop local training strategies focussing on developing skills primarily in the local construction and energy sectors, within public sector agencies and buildings managers and users.
Activities and results
1. In November 6, 2006 the City of Koszalin along with Municipal Heating Company and the Technical University of Koszalin has organized the seminar titled "The technique and the technology and optimalization of the municipal heat engineering system within the framework of the sustainable development network between the of cities participating in the Concerto act2" project.
Seminar took place in the Technical University of Koszalin and the target group of this seminar were students and connected firms with the heat engineering sector.
The main aim of the seminar was transfer the know-how of Concerto act2 project for participants, who has got knowledge focusing on the objectives of act2 as well as all participating partners in the project and also planned Koszalin activities on next programming period. (approximately 120 participants)
2. The presentation of act2 project for high school students in Koszalin, during the celebration of „The day of enterprise", organized on March 15, 2007. The meeting took place in the Municipal District Heating Company Ltd. in Koszalin. (20 participants)
3. On April 6, 2007 Municipal Heating Company Ltd. in Koszalin was organised internal training course dedicated for employees.
During the training were demonstrated the best practices realised by the project partners e.g. Hanover and Nantes as well as information about Koszalin role and planned tasks in the frame of Concerto act2. (12 participants)
4. On May 10, 2007 the City of Koszalin along with Municipal Heating Company Ltd. and the Technical University of Koszalin has organized the technical seminar titled "The modern district heating systems within the framework of the city sustainable development conception".
Seminar took place in the Technical University of Koszalin. Participant of the seminar were students, designers and companies operate in the heat engineering sector. (about 80 participants)
5. On the 5th of October 2007 at Technical University in Koszalin has organized by MEC Koszalin and City of Koszalin the seminar titled "Sustainable development of energetics. Modern solutions in district heating systems"
The meeting was dedicated to technical designers, engineering companies, students, MEC employees.
The participants of the seminar have had an opportunity to see and listen the presentations of the act2 demonstration's cities from Nantes and Hanover. The projects of development plans of trade and housing districts of these cities have been presented.
During the seminar invited companies have shown their products focusing on modern solutions in district heating systems and sustainable development. (more than 100 participants)
6. On May 14, 2008 the Municipal Heating Company Ltd. in Koszalin along with the Municipality of Koszalin have organized the training course dedicated for the administrative company staff. The main aim of the meeting was to give information about current activities of act2 partners, putting special emphases on subjects in which MEC is dealing with. (8 participants)
7. On 3rd of December 2008 City of Koszalin and MEC Koszalin have shown the presentation on Concerto act2 as an opening lecture during seminar organized by Technical University.
Companies from thermal energy sector have been invited for this meeting. (approximately 150 academic teachers, students, engineers, designers have participated in this seminar)
