Various energy-related technical and socio-economic studies and partnerships were initiated in the frame of the act2 project in Nantes.

(1) - Bioclimatic optimisation of the ‘Tripode A' masterplan
Partners: Nantes Métropole and CERMA, in association with SAMOA, Nexity (building developer) and Atelier de Portzamparc (designer)

(2) - Technical and juridical feasibility studies of the implantation of a large-scale PV power plant in public ownership on a private domain
Partners: Nantes Métropole, Hespul and Avoxa Cabinet. Reults integrated in the NENA project

(3) - Analysis of the potential for the development of ground- or water-coupled heat pumps within Nantes Métropole territory
Partners: Nantes Métropole and BRGM

(4) - Survey related to fuel poverty situations, based on the analyses of the Ile de Nantes district and its renewal project led

(5) - Evaluation of energy-efficient constructions and refurbishments. Optimisation of the public co-funding schemes and modelling tools via monitoring

(6) - Overall energy planning of the Ile de Nantes district (definition of a set of criteria). Assistance and follow up concerning thermal and energy specifications submitted by building developers

(7) - Financial impact of the generalisation of the 'Low-Consuming Building' standard on the whole municipal building stock (both new and existing)
